21 September 2016 – On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, Miami Dade County invited WCPUN to join leading local civic leaders, artists and students, in commemorations at Government Center. Executive Director Shamina de Gonzaga was also invited to make a special address to the Community Relations Board (CRB) focused on connecting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to the realities of Miami Dade.
