The “INDOCUMENTALES”
The “INDOCUMENTALES” documentary film and dialogue series on immigration entered its fourth year of programming with a screening of The State of Arizona (by Carlos Sandoval and Catherine Tambini) at NYU’s King Juan Carlos Center, followed by a discussion with the directors and special guests representing the Americas Society/Council of the Americas, Faith-based immigration activism along the Mexico-US border and the New York Immigration Coalition.

WCPUN joined the New York Metropolitan Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolence in a workshop with youth from HLA Gernsbach, Germany aimed at helping young people to understand and apply Kingian principles of leadership and nonviolence in daily life.
The Society of Young Philanthropists was proud to host a fundraising reception, in conjunction with Kate Spade New York. Yet another fabulous brand is joining the portfolio of those helping to reward young people for doing good: with 15% off all goods sold, a highly anticipated raffle, goody bags worth £60 and all donations on the door going to an array of local charities, including Walking with the Wounded, St Mungo’s Homeless Shelters, Battersea Dogs Home and The Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital, amongst others. Guests were invited to eat, drink, buy and make a difference. With the best of our generation.
Asian Art Festival
On the occasion of the New York Asian Art Week, the Sino-American Fashion Development Center and Snow Bird group, in partnership with WCPUN and Asian art galleries hosted a launch event in honor of visiting Chinese Artists at the United Nations with a view to promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between China and the US.

Woman of the Year
